چکیده

JANSEN, B. C. The toxic antigenic factors produced by Clostridium botulinum types C and D. Onderstepoort ]. vet Res., 38 (2), 93-98 (1971). The toxic factors produced by Clostridium botulinum (Van Ermengem, 1896), types C and D were determined. Monospecific antisera were prepared against the different factors. It was shown that type Coc produces factors C" C2 and D; type C f3 produces factor C 2 and type D produces factors C1 and D. It was also shown that the International Standard Type C Antitoxin contains antibodies against factors C1, C2 and D and the International Standard TypeD Antitoxin contains antibodies against factors C1 and D.

کلونینگ، بیان و تخلیص پروتئین SNAP-25

Background & Objectives:Clostridial neurotoxin inhibits neurotransmitter release by selective and specific intracellular proteolysis of synaptosomal associated protein of 25KDa (SNAP-25), synaptobrevin/VAMP-2 and syntaxin. SNAP-25 is one of the components that forms docking complex in synaptic ends. This protein is subtrate for botulinum neurotoxins types A,C, and E. Each of these toxin serotyp...

Monitoring the Various Types of Clostridium botulinumin in Four Kinds of Food Stuffs Using Multiplex PCR

Background &Objective: Food poisoning (FP) caused by C. botulinum is the most serious feature of FP inpeople consuming the contaminated foodstuffs (Canned meat, vegetarian foods, dairy products and seafood products). Botulism is basically detected by the identification of live bacteria and/or its toxins. Among various types of microorganisms (i.e. A, B, C1, C2, D, E, F), serotypes A, B, E and F...

Characterization of Clostridium botulinum spores and its toxin in honey

Botulism is a serious paralytic disease caused by Clostridium botulinum toxin in foods. There are seven recognized serotypes of botulinum neurotoxins among which the principal prevalent types in humans include A, B and E. Infant botulism results from intestinal colonization and toxin production by C. botulinum spores in babies less than 1 year old. Honey is the most important food discriminated...

Serological studies of Clostridium botulinum type E and related organisms.

Clostridium botulinum type E antigens prepared from washed cells by either Formalin treatment or heating at 100 C were used for immunizing rabbits. Agglutination tests showed that high levels of antibody were produced by both types of preparations. Flagellar antigens were highly strain-specific, whereas the somatic antigens were sufficiently similar to produce complete cross-agglutination. One ...
